① Loosen the M8 nut on the rear brake lever. With the handbrake released, pull the rear brake lever forward by hand. Then adjust the rear M8 nut until the front M8 nut of the lever joint is 5-8mm away from the joint. Release the hand and tighten the M8 nut.② If the adjustment thread of the rear brake lever is insufficient, adjust the M10 nut on the front brake lever to adjust the brake.
Attachment: Brake Inspection
Note: When the brake pads are worn down to half their original thickness, replace them to ensure driving safety. If the brake fails, immediately turn off the forward/reverse combination switch to stop the vehicle, and then have it inspected and repaired at a relevant workshop before driving again.
① First, loosen the M10 fixing nut of the motor base. Then adjust the motor pull rod to tension the chain. After tensioning, first tighten the M12 nut on the motor pull rod, and then tighten the motor base fixing nut.② If the chain is misaligned, first loosen the M10 fixing nut of the motor base. Then adjust the motor to keep the chain in the same plane on the front and rear sprockets, and then tighten the motor nut.
Turn on the power switch, set the forward/reverse switch to the forward gear, turn on the turn signal, and set the speed switch to the low gear (the vehicle must start at a low speed). Step on the brake pedal, release the handbrake, confirm there are no obstacles ahead, and release the brake pedal. The vehicle will start moving at a low speed. (If using stepless speed change for start-up, twist the stepless speed change handle inward.)
Turn off the turn signal, gently step on the brake pedal to cut off the power of the power-off switch (observe the AV meter returning to "0"). Turn the speed switch to the high gear or stepless speed change gear, confirm there are no obstacles ahead, and release the brake pedal. The vehicle will start moving at high speed or the stepless speed change will start working. (Note: The selection of high gear depends on road conditions and traffic safety. When driving normally or with a heavy load, use high gear or stepless speed change gear as much as possible. Do not drive in low gear for a long time to avoid burning out resistors and other components.)
Reduce the speed in advance, turn on the turn signal for the direction of the turn, and turn when it is safe (when it does not hinder the oncoming vehicles and the visibility is poor, drive as slowly as possible and increase the turning radius).
Turn on the right turn signal, observe the rear situation through the rearview mirror, confirm safety, and pull the vehicle over to the parking position. Step on the brake pedal to stop the vehicle, then pull the handbrake lever to a secure position, turn off the key power switch, and set the forward/reverse switch and speed switch to the neutral position. If the driver needs to leave the vehicle, be sure to pull out the key and confirm the vehicle is safe before leaving.
Step on the brake pedal to stop the vehicle, set the driving switch to reverse gear and low gear or adjust the gear, release the brake pedal to start reversing, and a reverse voice prompt will sound simultaneously.
